    • Honestly, I give you kudos for being creative and being a risk taker. That sucks that they took it so hard on you. Keep it up man!

  • Heather Dawson on 2014-03-13
    • If it was up to me, he'd be hired just for the brass it took to send this to Dreamworks

  • John Hein on 2014-02-20
    • How did you film that black background? There might be some setting in final cut pro, or maybe some lighting set up? I'm wondering how this guy did it? I too would like to do something like this.

    • Must be a bit hard in America if your name is "CJ" after GTA:San Andreas relase... :)

  • Daniel Koellner on 2013-06-22
    • Welp … I gotta say he started off pretty good. But he took it a bit too far in the end.

    • I actually got a reply from the channel on this subject and guess what? You were right! I guess he did send this in as a legitimate application a few years ago. My logic hath failed me =P

  • Funny Shorts on 2013-06-17
    • Hey there. CJ really did send this in to Dreamworks a couple years ago. We recently finally decided it had been long enough to put it up online, but this one is absolutely real!

  • NothingButLove6 on 2013-06-17
    • Fair enough, I have no evidence that I can provide other than what I copied from their "About" section on their channel which states: "DISTRIBUTORS OF FINE HANDCRAFTED COMEDY"(Caps included). That, coupled with the fact that this guy has acted in other clips on this channel, gives me a clear indication that it's fake.

  • InterwebGuide on 2013-06-17
    • Give this man a God-damn medal!

  • Edison Trent on 2013-06-17
    • Still funny as hell.

    • Shrek?

  • jcurses on 2013-06-15
    • 1. While he showed initiative it could easily be seen as lack of respect or arrogance to the potential employers. 2. What he lists about himself is no different than what most people would say during an interview/on a resume. Coupled with the fact that this video would attract more attention than the standard resume unless he had something particularly special to say then the attention generated is negative and overall a waste. If the story is true then it was a poor plan; decent execution.

    • Sad to hear Spielberg has no sense of humour

  • Amelia Carlson on 2013-06-15
    • AWWW why was he banned?

  • farteroffire on 2013-06-15
    • Cause it's a film concerning the Holocaust.

  • NothingButLove6 on 2013-06-15
    • Lol at the people who think this could actually be a real application video on a channel called "Funny Shorts". Some people really just can't be bothered with paying attention to anything.

  • stonyy16 on 2013-06-15
    • So you did not get the job because of that awsome video? i would have hired you on the spot..

  • Kelly Zeigler on 2013-06-15
    • If it was from that movie that makes some sense. btw i hope you are trolling and irl at least know what the movie is about. if not try Google. Specifically Google images

  • CrispeeChips on 2013-06-14
    • Why not? I have't seen Schindler's List myself.

  • Mysterious AnimatorX on 2013-06-14
    • Eh. I was prepared for this to be embarrassing for the guy. It's not that bad really. Not funny, but not bad. Gets an A for effort. He couldn't be any worse than any of the other creative suits working there.

  • hackmamut on 2013-06-14
    • fail bot is fail

  • Nino on 2013-06-14
    • if this ban thing is real, he sure deserved it because this couldn't get lamer.

  • farteroffire on 2013-06-14
    • If it's true (the banning) it might be because this guy used the interview from Schindler's List...Which probably was not a good idea in terms of taste.

  • Kevin Edwards on 2013-06-14
    • If true, I would imagine the ban might be because the interview he took is Spielberg talking about Schindler's List.

  • the1tigglet on 2013-06-14
    • Actually I think this was awesome! the ultimate troll he's obviously very creative to take the time out to do something like this. And it takes alot of work to pull off even with today's software so I'd hire him I think this is awesome but then again, they don't look for managers with souls to run these companies they look for the most robotic soulless creatures on earth to be in upper management and that explains the reasons why we hit an economic crisis.

  • Alexandru Tanase on 2013-06-14
    • I smell a PIXAR contract.

  • imdoingthissoicancom on 2013-06-14
    • And I used to like DreamWorks so much. Sad. Time to rev up the torrents!

  • G - money on 2013-06-14
    • Great job!

  • wiimaster888 on 2013-06-14
    • you're....kidding right?

  • Barb Heller on 2013-06-14
    • Um, you're really Christopher Woodring using an alias, right?! But I agree: I'd definitely give Woodring an interview, not a slap on the wrist!

  • 31 Savage on 2013-06-14
    • I just think some of the responses were not that original or favorable to him. Managers look for more than just "hard worker, a lot of energy." If he had come up with unique or original things to say and do with the video, things might have been different. But making fun of the boss says you don't have respect for the company, and the whole thing kind of made him look like a douche, intentionally I know, but douche nonetheless. It didn't paint the right picture. I like the idea though.

    • "Shave that beard, then we can talk" was what they said I heard.

  • Robert Ayers on 2013-06-14
    • It flowed well enough that I thought that he had got an old friend to pretend to be Spielberg as all the shots of him to begin with were from the side. Sums up the movie industry that they banned him from having a job I won't be feeling sorry for them when I download my next movie!

  • Jadyn W. on 2013-06-14
    • I've always wanted to earn nothing! Thanks for this amazing opportunity, I won't let you down, sir!
